Multi Layered Wood Lake Mendota Bathymetric Map
Lake Mendota is more than just a lake to a lot of us. It is big water, campus views, quiet mornings along the shore, summer afternoons boating or fishing, and the memories that keep bringing you back.
I design and make each Lake Mendota map myself from start to finish. Every piece is designed, cut on my CO2 laser, sealed or stained, hand assembled, then framed by me.
Because these are made from multiple layers of plywood, they have real depth and dimension that make the lake stand out in a way a flat print cannot.
As a small business, I take a lot of pride in making each map feel special. I am not pulling these off a shelf or mass producing them. Each one is made to order with care and attention to detail.
Turnaround time is usually about a week, though it can take a little longer during busy seasons and holidays.
I donate 25% of all Lake Waubesa item sales to the Lake Waubesa Conservation Association, a local organization focused entirely on the long term care of Lake Waubesa. Their work supports a healthier lake through community involvement, environmental stewardship, education, and practical efforts that help protect and improve the lake for everyone who enjoys it.
