We all have our special lake, but often times we can't find that special item that lets us celebrate our love for that special lake.  That's where this item comes in.  If you don't see your lake on a map already, don't worry, I can custom make one for you.
 
The base Your Lake Here Wooden Map will features a map of your lake along with its name, location, and a compass rose.  Roads, backlighting, and custom markers can be added as well.
 
I design each map, get your design approval, then program and cut them out using my CO2 laser cutter.  Once cut, I will seal/stain the maps and hand assemble them.  Maps and frame are made out of multiple layers of plywood.
 
If choosing the backlit option, I will modify the design to allow for LEDs to be placed between the ground and water layers which will allow you to illuminate the lake with any color you choose using the supplied remote.  LEDs are powered via a USB cable which extends out of the bottom of the map.  I do not like using batteries to power the LEDs as they require rather consistent changing.
 
The process of ordering a custom map:
Fill out the required info when placing the order
Choose the options (backlit, roads, etc.)
Choose the size range (Small, Medium, Large, X-Large)
Place the order
 
What will happen next:
I may reach out to you with further questions before I start your design
I will design your map
I will send you a proof to approve
Once approved, I will make your map and ship it out
 
This entire process generally takes place in under two weeks, though there can be delays near holidays due to excess demand and me being only one person designing and making these maps.
